DENVER, Colorado  - Bahamian filmmaker Calvin Dwight Harris held a U.S. screening for his feature length documentary film; "On The Wings of Men" on June 2nd.  The film about the first prime minister of The Bahamas, Sir Lynden Oscar Pindling, and his fight against US foreign policies in the 1980's during the drug war.

Mr. Harris wanted to say a special thank you to Kimberly "Bluey" Villachica, President, Bahamas Association of Colorado (BAOC) for helping to organize the event. Mrs. Villachica attended with her son Saylor. Also in attendance were other Bahamians Greg Treco (along with his wife Ola), Terrence McPhee, and Taja Zisler.

With the successful showing and positive feedback by all of those in attendance, Mr. Harris is hoping to hold several more screenings in the US in the near future.

The filmmaker intends to hold a free screening in Nassau in honor of the Bahamas' 40th Anniversary of Independence. The date will be announced soon.
